The project involves developing a numerical simulation platform in Python or MATLAB to simulate image formation using optical tomography. This tool will be applied to the imaging of biological tissues and cultured cells. The results will be compared with experimental data.
The successful candidate will work on a computer workstation provided for this purpose. They will develop code in MATLAB or Python, test it, and compare it with experimental results obtained by the group.
The successful candidate will work at the Fresnel Institute (Marseille) as part of the SEMO team, which specializes in optical microscopy and numerical simulations for applications in biology and nanophotonics. They will be supervised by Anne Sentenac (DR, CNRS) and Guillaume Baffou (DR, CNRS).
