The IPCMS (Institut de Physique et Chimie des Matériaux de Strasbourg) seeks a highly motivated candidate for a temporary researcher position in the TORNADO project. The role focuses on synthesis, chiroptical and electrochemical characterisation of enantiopure d-metal complexes with metallophilic interactions.

Qualifications

• PhD in Chemical Sciences or Molecular Chemistry with synthesis and spectroscopy background.
• Independent, multidisciplinary, and curiosity-driven researcher.
• Excellent written and spoken English; French not required.

Responsabilités

• Design and synthesize organometallic ligands and complexes under inert atmosphere.
• Synthesize organic heterocyclic ligands independently.
• Synthesize organometallic complexes independently under inert atmosphere.
• Purify products using chromatographic techniques independently.
• Characterize products using spectroscopic techniques (NMR, MS, FT-IR); optical spectroscopy (UV-Vis, CPL).
