Job summary

Servier in Saclay, France invites applications for a Postdoctoral Fellow in Flow electrochemistry. You will join an international, human-scale pharmaceutical group dedicated to therapeutic progress for patients, with a focus on oncology and cardiology research.

Your work will build an AI-enabled, automated flow electro(photo)chemistry platform and support medicinal chemistry projects through flow and batch electrochemical transformations, with real-time monitoring and data-driven optimization.

Qualifications

• PhD in Organic Chemistry with specialization in flow electrochemistry.
• Experience in organic and flow electrochemistry, with knowledge of photochemical transformations.
• Proficiency in data-driven reaction optimization, including Bayesian optimization and DoE (Latin Hypercube Sampling).
• Experience with laboratory automation, instrument control, and hardware–software integration; Python and Git familiarity.
• Ability to work independently in a collaborative international R&D environment; strong scientific English.

Responsibilities

• Implement cutting-edge electrochemical methodologies to address complex synthetic challenges.
• Support Medicinal Chemistry projects through electrochemical transformations in both flow and batch modes.
• Deploy benchtop in-line NMR analysis for real-time reaction monitoring and process control.
• Establish and manage an AI-enabled, automated flow electro(photo)chemistry platform.
• Ensure rigorous data management and communicate results across multidisciplinary international teams.
