The Takahashi lab at the Interdisciplinary Institute for Neuroscience (IINS - UMR 5927) within Bordeaux Neurocampus seeks a motivated postdoc to study how cortical circuits shape tactile perception in mice, using in vivo imaging, Neuropixels recordings, optogenetics, and chemogenetics.

The position is a fully funded two-year contract with potential extension, with strong support for applying to external fellowships and access to CAJAL training and the Bordeaux Imaging Center.

Qualifications

• PhD in experimental or computational neuroscience or near completion.
• Experience with in vivo imaging or electrophysiology in rodents (advantageous).
• Proficiency in Matlab or Python programming.
• Strong motivation, teamwork, and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Conduct in vivo imaging/electrophysiology experiments in mice.
• Analyze data using Matlab/Python and share results with the team.
• Collaborate across disciplines to study cortical circuits of tactile perception.
• Contribute to publications and grant applications.
