CEA is looking for a Post-doctoral fellow in fluid mechanics to model the cerebrovascular system, focusing on preeclampsia and its impacts. The candidate will develop computational models and integrate experimental data, working in a dynamic research environment in Grenoble.

A PhD in relevant fields is required, along with strong programming skills, particularly in Python, C++, and Fortran. The position offers opportunities for career enhancement and a balanced work-life environment.

Qualifications

• Strong interest in biomedical applications.
• Prior knowledge of vascular physiology, cerebral circulation, or biological systems is a major asset.
• Experience in biomechanical modeling or fluid–structure interactions is an advantage.
• Curiosity, autonomy, and motivation to contribute to innovative research.
• Willingness to travel regularly between partners' laboratories.

Responsabilités

• Model and simulate the cerebrovascular system to understand the consequences of preeclampsia.
• Develop a computational model using CATHARE to simulate the impact of hypertension on BBB vascular walls.
• Integrate experimental hemodynamic and MRI data into multiscale simulations.
