3IA Côte d'Azur invites applications for a 3-year PhD at Inria in Sophia Antipolis. The project combines imaging, CFD and AI to build patient-specific left atrial hemodynamics maps for stroke risk prediction.

You will work with collaborators from Sorbonne University and Aix-Marseille, process 4D flow MRI, develop differentiable physics models, and create surrogate AI models for fast risk stratification.

Strong modeling, Python skills, and English proficiency are expected.

Qualifications

• MSc level in data science, applied mathematics, computer science or biomedical engineering.
• Motivated by mathematical modeling and AI.
• Eager to work in the medical field.
• Good coding skills in Python.
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).
