CNRS - Laboratoire de Chimie Moléculaire at École Polytechnique, Saclay, seeks a postdoctoral fellow to advance organometallic synthesis of lanthanide and actinide complexes. The project focuses on phi-bond interactions and multinuclear assemblies of 4f and 5f ions, with activity at laboratory and international collaboration partners.

The role includes mastering characterization techniques (X-ray diffraction, magnetism, EPR, NMR, UV-Vis-NIR, IR/Raman), coordinating non-radioactive analog

Qualifications

• Knowledge of organometallic synthesis.
• Experience with NMR, UV-Vis-NIR, EPR, X-ray diffraction.
• Ability to supervise students and collaborate internationally.

Responsabilités

• Develop organic synthesis of large aromatic ligands.
• Synthesize lanthanide and uranium complexes.
• Characterize complexes using XRD, magnetism, EPR, NMR, UV-Vis-NIR, IR/Raman.
• Collaborate with partner labs in the United States.
• Supervise master’s and doctoral students in the research group.
• Prepare written reports and contribute to patents or publications.
• Participate in research seminars and share results with the team.
