Join the Heart Rhythm Diseases Institute (IHU Liryc), University of Bordeaux, to contribute to advances in cardiovascular medicine. We are recruiting a Post-Doctoral researcher in Artificial Intelligence applied to stroke prediction as part of the RHU TALENT project, funded by the National Research Agency. The project aims to develop AI tools for predicting stroke risk using multimodal data, primarily ECG and CT, to enable personalized risk assessments in preventive strategies.

Your role will include developing innovative AI algorithms for medical data analysis, working with complex multimodal datasets, deploying research environments with international partners, and disseminating scientific results through publications and conferences. Candidates should hold a PhD in AI, data science, bioinformatics, or related fields, with strong skills in machine learning, neural networks, programming (Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch), and experience with distributed computing environments. Fluency in English (B2 level) and willingness to travel within Denmark are required.

This position offers collaboration with international experts, access to advanced research infrastructure, and involvement in a multidisciplinary team. Salary ranges from €2750 to €3000 gross, with benefits including vacation days, remote work options, transportation subsidies, healthcare, and more. The role is based in Pessac, near Bordeaux, with regular travel to Denmark.
