Offer Description

- Development of organometallic complexes allowing N2 activation.
- involvement in the results diffusing (publications, oral communications )
- Participation in student training
- Litterature watch

- synthesis of organometallic complexes (main task)
- characterization of complexes by NMR, IR, UV-visible spectroscopies, XRD and all other appropriate techniques (main task)
- Studies of the reactivity of the complexes : electrochemistry, substrates, catalytic tests (main task)
- writing publications (main task)
- ligands synthesis (main task)
- involvement into training of undergrad students (secondary task)
- litterature watch (secondary task)

LHFA, mixed unit CNRS-UPS located within the chemistry building of the Université Paul Sabatier, 118 route de Narbonne, Toulouse.
The LHFA is constituted of 6 research teams , with roughly 60 personnels. The main theme is directed toward the study of original molecules and complexes, highly reactive. It is a member of the "Institut de Chimie de Toulouse" (Toulouse Institute of Chemistry).
The SHEN team is constituted by 3 permanent researchers.

Additional comments

Our team is interested in the activation/functionalization of N2 via transition metal complexes. The objective is to synthesize molybdenum complexes which enable the direct splitting of N2 into metal nitride complexes which reactivities will be studied.
