Qualifications

  • Cinq ans d'expérience en audit externe, de préférence dans le secteur public.
  • Compétence en gestion de projet et présentation de sujets techniques.

  • Réaliser des analyses de haute qualité pour les initiatives d'ACIG.
  • Soutenir la mise en œuvre de plans de projet et organiser des missions.

Description du poste

  • Deliver high-quality analysis for ACIG's current initiatives providing ongoing support in conducting research and analysis to external audit systems in government.
  • Develop tailored policy assessments and recommendations taking into account country context, good practices, and comparative evidence from OECD member and non-member countries.
  • Develop practical materials, tools, and guidance that governments can use for strengthening their strategies, policies, and practices.
  • Contribute to drafting reports, presentations, and articles aimed at both technical and non-technical audiences.

Portfolio and Project Management

  • Support the implementation of project plans and organisation of fact-finding missions.
  • Liaise with country focal points to ensure due completion of data collection and validation process.
  • Arrange capacity-building activities such as workshops and seminars virtually and in-person.
  • Identify and manage external consultants to support the delivery of projects as needed, ensuring high-quality deliverables.

Liaison, Representation, and Dissemination

  • Support the planning and implementation of capacity-building activities (e.g., workshops and seminars) on core and emerging topics for auditors and risk managers.
  • Participate in fact-finding or other missions to Member countries and non-Member economies as required.

Qualifications:

Ideal Candidate Profile

Academic Background

  • Advanced university degree or equivalent qualification in auditing, accounting, public policy, or an equivalent diploma in a related field.

Professional Background

  • At least five years of experience working in the area of external auditing, preferably with experience in the public sector (e.g., with a Supreme Audit Institution).
  • Experience working with public internal control systems such as internal audit and risk management functions, fraud prevention, or broader issues would be an advantage.
  • Experience designing or participating in risk assessments, particularly data-driven approaches, would be an advantage.
  • Proven track record in presenting highly technical subjects in writing as well as orally to upper management or high-level public officials or a non-expert audience in a compelling manner.
  • Proven track record in project management and multitasking would be an advantage.

Core Competencies

Languages

  • Fluency in one of the two OECD official languages (English and French) and a knowledge of or a willingness to learn the other.
  • Knowledge of other languages would be an asset.

Contract Duration

  • 13-month fixed-term appointment with the possibility of renewal.

Salary Information

  • This position is graded PAL5.
  • Please note that the appointment may be made at one grade lower in the specified job family based on the qualifications and professional experience of the selected applicant.
  • Please note that our Rules and Regulations stipulate that the mandatory retirement age is 67.

Selection Process

For retained candidates, written tests and/or video-recorded interviews are foreseen in May 2025, followed by panel interviews in June 2025.
