OECD is seeking an experienced Policy Analyst to contribute to CITY’s work on local environmental policy, water governance, and the blue and circular economy. You will report to the Head of the Water Governance, Blue and Circular Economy Unit and work across urban policy networks.

The role emphasizes research, policy analysis, project coordination, fundraising, and representing OECD at international events while collaborating with governments and international partners.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a relevant area such as environmental policy, economics, urban/regional development/planning.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in local environmental policy, especially water and sanitation, blue and circular economy, nature-based solutions.
• Strong policy research and analytical skills; ability to draft reports and briefing materials.

Responsabilités

• Design and conduct economic and policy research on local environmental policy challenges.
• Analyse international evidence to inform policy in OECD member countries and beyond.
• Draft high-quality assessments, briefs, and working papers for Directors and stakeholders.
• Organise complex materials for specialist and non-specialist audiences and support fundraising efforts.
