OECD in Paris invites applications for a Policy Analyst to contribute to the CITY division’s work on local environmental policy, water and sanitation, blue and circular economy, and nature-based solutions. The selected candidate reports to the Head of the Water Governance, Blue and Circular Economy Unit and will design research, analyse data, build databases, and draft policy-relevant outputs.

The role includes project coordination, collaboration with stakeholders, and potential fundraising

Qualifications

• Advanced university degree in environmental policy, economics or urban/regional development/planning.
• 3–5 years of relevant professional experience in local environmental policy (water and sanitation, blue/circular economy, nature-based solutions).
• Strong policy research and analytical skills; experience with statistics and data analysis.

Responsabilités

• Design and conduct innovative economic and policy research on local environmental policy at multiple scales.
• Analyse international evidence to inform policy analysis across OECD and beyond.
• Build and maintain databases and conduct empirical analysis as needed.
• Draft and edit high-quality, evidence-based assessments, reports and blogs.
• Organise materials for Directors and the Office of the Secretary General, in a clear and concise manner.
• Support fundraising efforts and collaboration with donors as needed.
