About the role:

As a Platform Services Engineer, you will provide on-site technical support and maintenance of IT systems, infrastructure, and end-user devices. You will resolve hardware and software issues, assist with IT deployments, and ensure minimal disruption to business operations.

You will report to the Supervisor - Windows Administration Team and be located at Villejust Westinghouse facilities (France) with a hybrid work arrangement.

Main Responsibilities:

• Provide first and second-level support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Act as the local point of contact for IT incidents and service requests, ensuring timely resolution.
• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
• Collaborate with global IT teams to support system upgrades, patch management, and deployment of new technologies.
• Monitor IT equipment and infrastructure, escalating critical issues as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, solutions, and asset inventory.
• Support local and remote users with excellent customer service and communication.
• Ensure compliance with IT security policies and procedures.
• Assist with onboarding/offboarding of employees, including account setups and equipment provisioning.
• Participate in projects, audits, and disaster recovery planning/testing as required.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory, remote support tools, Microsoft Azure.
• Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Familiarity with ITIL framework and ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira).
• Fluent in French and English.
• Must be eligible to work in France and willing to travel between sites.
