Job summary

Allianz Partners is hiring a Platform Engineer to join the Advanced Analytics team in the Chief Data & AI Office. You will build and operate the cloud infrastructure powering AI-enabled solutions at global scale, focusing on Kubernetes, CI/CD, and secure, observable platforms.

You will collaborate with Backend, ML, and Platform Architects to translate architecture into reliable infra and automate repetitive toil away. Strong Azure expertise is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in platform engineering, SRE, or DevOps, with AI/ML workload support a plus.

Responsibilities

• Implement and operate Kubernetes infrastructure (AKS) including clustering, networking, resource management, auto-scaling, and multi-tenancy.
• Build CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and ArgoCD for GitOps deployments.
• Develop IaC (Terraform, Bicep) to provision Azure resources with auditability.
• Operate observability stack: Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Prometheus, Grafana.
• Collaborate with Platform Architects, Backend Engineers, and ML Engineers to translate designs into reliable infra.
• Maintain security controls: network policies, pod security standards, Key Vault, RBAC.
• Support database infra: PostgreSQL management, backup/recovery, tuning.
