Speechify seeks a Software Engineer, Platform in Paris to own the platform backend powering payments, subscriptions, auth, and analytics across web, iOS, Android, and extensions. You will optimize cross-client consistency, uphold high uptime, and reduce costs while contributing to a distributed team with asynchronous collaboration.

You will work on APIs behind the public TTS services, take on multi-cloud considerations, and drive automation to shrink manual work.

Qualifications

• Proven backend experience in TS/Node
• Direct experience with GCP and cloud platforms
• Experience deploying containerized workloads (Docker)
• Hands-on with Kubernetes deployments and HA architectures
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Ability to design reliable and scalable services

Responsabilités

• Design, build, and own backend APIs for payments, subscriptions, auth and analytics
• Improve existing services to be faster, cheaper, and more fault-tolerant
• Ensure changes are correct before shipping and maintain post-release checks
• Automate repetitive tasks to free up developer time
• Turn one-off work into repeatable components for the team
• Design B2B and enterprise integrations on top of Speechify systems
• Collaborate with product, mobile, and web teams to keep backend ahead of product needs
