Speechify is hiring a Software Engineer for Platform in Nantes, France. You will design, build, and own the backend APIs powering payments, subscriptions, and authentication, while improving performance and cost-efficiency across multiple clients.

You will work with cloud platforms, containers, and orchestration tools, automating routine work and sharing improvements with the team to scale our TTS ecosystem for millions of users.

Qualifications

• Backend experience with TypeScript/Node.js is required.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms with hands-on GCP experience.
• Ability to own and improve services end-to-end.
• Experience with containers and orchestration is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Design, build, and own backend APIs for payments, subscriptions, and auth.
• Improve existing services for performance, cost, and reliability.
• Ensure correctness via logs and state that matches production.
• Automate repetitive tasks and enable team-wide reuse.
• Collaborate with product, mobile, and web teams on architecture.
