Speechify is a distributed, remote-first company hiring a Backend Engineer to shape our platform APIs across payments, analytics, subscriptions, text-to-speech, and external integrations.

You will design, develop, and maintain robust APIs, oversee backend landscape for performance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align architecture with product strategy and user experience. Expertise in TS/Node and cloud platforms is preferred, with Docker/Kubernetes a plus.

Qualifications

• Proven backend development experience with TS/Node
• Experience with cloud providers (GCP, AWS, Azure)
• Ability to design scalable APIs and data models
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools
