Speechify is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Core Experiences Team. You will help design and maintain foundational services and SDKs powering Speechify across platforms, balancing product needs with infrastructure considerations.

Ideal candidates are strong system thinkers who move quickly, collaborate effectively with designers and PMs, and enjoy building clear, reliable APIs. Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform and Google Cloud Platform is a plus.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Kotlin Multiplatform, with Java experience considered a plus.
• Experience designing APIs and SDKs for cross-platform products.
• Familiarity with cloud services and scalable backend infrastructure (GCP preferred).

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with product teams to scope projects and deliver cross-platform SDK solutions.
• Optimize functionality for faster loading and smarter parsing by refining abstractions and algorithms.
• Ship cloud functions, lightweight backend services, and Kotlin-based jobs.
