Speechify, a fully distributed company without a fixed office, is seeking a senior backend engineer to design, develop, and maintain robust APIs including public TTS, Payment, Subscription, Auth, and analytics. You will optimize the backend landscape for performance and scalability while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet enterprise needs.

Qualifications

• Proven backend development experience with TypeScript/Node.js.
• Experience building scalable REST and internal/public APIs.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure).
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, and maintain robust APIs including public TTS API and internal APIs (Payment, Subscription, Auth, Tracking).
• Oversee the full backend API landscape for performance and maintainability.
• Collaborate on B2B solutions focusing on customization for enterprise clients.
• Align backend architecture with product strategy and user experience across teams.
