A leading automotive company based in Villers-Bretonneux is seeking a Quality Manager to oversee production quality, lead workshop activities, and implement risk management strategies. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under pressure. This role involves ensuring compliance with quality standards and conducting ongoing risk management inspections.
Finality Level 1: Participate in implementing cost-effective product/process capabilities for production related to the concerned zone(s) or APU, for all customer types and scopes.
Participate in operational risk management actions on site.
Level 2: Responsible for the cost-effective product/process capabilities for production related to the zone(s) or APU, for all customer types and scopes.

Main Missions
1 - Ensure quality levels in production (Levels 1 & 2):
- Consider general or specific quality requirements.
- Coordinate and approve internal and external sorting and recovery.
- Participate in developing and optimizing SPC procedures and approve results.
- Monitor product quality across materials, BOP, semi-finished, and finished products by product line and customer.
- Act as a guarantor of methodology in handling customer and supplier quality incidents, justify decisions, and coordinate action plans.
- Audit products and production processes, ensure implementation of action plans.
- Analyze warranty returns and process them.
- Re-evaluate FMECAs and update mass-production control plans.
- Approve modifications to products and processes, and submit EI to customers.
- Conduct initial process audits, approve process qualification, and confirm ongoing qualification.
- Perform all necessary actions with customers and suppliers.
Level 1:
- Analyze causes and decide on methods and means.
Level 2:
- Make decisions to optimize results based on initial data.
2 - Lead quality activities within workshops (Levels 1 & 2):
- Participate in APU routines and daily meetings with the APU Manager and shopfloor team.
- Control and lead quality firewalls and monitor results.
- Control quality during transfers and participate in P/P qualification.
- Conduct MPP audits and oversee action plan progress.
- Coordinate recovery of non-compliant parts.
- Train staff on quality tools and methods.
- Train supervisors on new products/processes.
- Participate in developing new products with quality reviews.
- Draft and feedback on design failures.
- Report to the Unit Quality Manager or APU Manager.
- Block deliveries or stop production if customer risk is identified.
Level 1:
- Develop content for new DAQs.
Level 2:
- Approve new DAQ content.
3 - Participate in progress management (Levels 1 & 2):
- Participate in CNQ analysis.
- Lead improvement actions.
- Check results of actions.
- Lead working groups.
- Resolve quality issues and incidents.
4 - Ensure compliance with regulatory and other risk management requirements.
5 - Monitor processes and conduct risk management inspections operationally.
Purpose
