We are looking to appoint an outstanding Plant Manager who can shape and deliver transformational change within this progressive organisation and lead an exciting change agenda.

Responsibilities
  • This is a substantial change management and leadership role where you must be able to lead significant operational activities within a highly commercial environment at a time of major development.
  • Reporting to the Regional Director, you will lead a highly critical site where there are significant opportunities to maximise including a cultural refresh and a focus on new ways of working.
  • As such, this role will be focused on best practice operational management with an emphasis on output, customer excellence, health & safety, efficiency and lean improvements amongst others.
  • You will have full accountability for all operational activities including; plant operations and manufacturing, engineering, technical, QHSE, finance, HR etc. with a significant focus on improved methods and processes in all areas.
  • You will define operational policy, lead all operational planning activities and develop a truly measurable continuous improvement culture. You will be expected to lead the organisation towards best in class, in order to meet the company finance performance criteria.
  • To formulate and implement plans to develop an effective operational structure and direct, coach, train and motivate teams towards the establishment of a continuous improvement environment.
  • You will drive people engagement, creating a culture of communication and involvement at all levels, to ensure a high performing best practice environment.
  • To implement a sophisticated change and development programme in terms of systems, processes, people and innovation.
  • To recommend and implement new process flows in order to reduce non value added labour time and waste.
Qualifications
  • This unique position demands an exceptional individual who enjoys a growth environment, substantial autonomy and a highly visible role with a focus on change management.
  • As such, your expertise is likely to have been gained within the FMCG, Food and Drink, Pharmaceutical, Automotive, Aerospace or similar world class sectors, where the adoption of lean technologies, principles and processes is at the core.
  • Fluent in both English and French, (an appropriate manufacturing/engineering degree would also be highly beneficial), you will be able to set a clear strategy, lead complex problem solving, inspire those around you and will set direction, agree purpose and understand the levers to pull to drive performance through your teams.
