About the client and role

Our client, a growing French automotive Tier 1 manufacturing company, is seeking an expat to assume the role of Plant Manager at their facility in San Luis Potosi, Mexico.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all operational activities with full P&L responsibility for the plant.
• Manage a plant with 500 employees.
• Serve major customers including Ford, GM, Stellantis, BMW, Tesla, Rivian.
• Lead the design and implementation of a new group production system.
• Drive operational excellence in a high-autonomy, lean environment—focusing on continuous improvement, efficiency, and impactful change.
• Operate in a data- and KPI-driven environment, collaborating with senior leadership to shape strategic direction.

• Experience managing automotive Tier 1 manufacturing plants.
• Proven success in change management and performance optimization.
