Mercuri Urval seeks a senior operations leader to drive site performance in a multinational, matrix environment. You will oversee day-to-day plant operations, lead site leadership teams, and ensure execution of the business plan with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, customer service, accountability, and operational excellence.

You will build a culture focused on lean processes, continuous improvement, and financial profitability, while coordinating with cross-site teams on technology

Qualifications

• Requires a Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Significant experience in plant, manufacturing, or industrial operations management, with exposure to aerospace or highly technical materials.
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, KPI management, and financial profitability orientation.

Reporting to senior leadership within an international matrix environment, you will lead overall site performance with full responsibility for operations, people leadership, execution of the business plan, and continuous improvement initiatives. You will help build a strong culture focused on safety, quality, customer service, accountability, and operational excellence.

You will play a key role in:

• Leading day-to-day plant operations and site leadership teams,
• Improving industrial performance and operational effectiveness,
• Strengthening management structure, team ownership, and accountability,
• Supporting customer satisfaction and a more proactive commercial mindset,
• Driving new product introductions, process improvement, and KPI discipline,
• Supporting technology deployment and cross-site collaboration in an international
• Contributing to strategic planning, investment priorities, and long-term growth.

We are looking for a leader with:

• A Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Significant experience in plant, manufacturing, or industrial operations management with a strong exposure to aerospace or other industries transforming highly technical materials
• Solid understanding of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, KPI management, and industrial standards combined with financial acumen and profitability orientation.
• Mature and energizing leadership, with a hands-on, resilient, pragmatic style, and the ability to combine high standards, team development, and change management.
• Ability to operate effectively in an international and matrix American organization, with fluent English and multicultural adaptability.
