Jobtailor in France is seeking an experienced head of operations to lead an organization of about 300 employees and drive performance across safety, quality, costs, delivery, and people. You will promote engagement and accountability while delivering cross-functional projects and plant objectives.

The role requires an engineering background, a proven track record in high-volume production, and fluency in French with strong English proficiency.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification.
• 10+ years' experience in operations management or industrial site leadership.
• Experience in high-volume process manufacturing.
• Experience managing teams of 100+ employees.
• Fluent French (C2) and English (B2).

Responsabilités

• Lead and develop an operations organization of ~300 employees, promoting engagement, accountability and a performance-driven culture.
• Ensure SQCDP performance by monitoring indicators, driving operational excellence and implementing continuous improvement actions.
• Drive site transformation by deploying IWS principles, supporting change and fostering a CI mindset.
• Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, Engineering, Quality and other functions to deliver cross-functional projects and meet plant objectives.
• Optimize resources and budgets to sustainably improve performance, asset reliability and site competitiveness.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop an operations organization of approximately 300 employees, promoting engagement, accountability and a performance-driven culture
• Ensure performance in Safety, Quality, Costs, Delivery and People management (SQCDP) by monitoring performance indicators, driving operational excellence and implementing continuous improvement actions
• Drive the site's operational transformation by deploying IWS principles, supporting change and fostering a continuous improvement mindset
• Work closely with Production, Maintenance, Engineering, Quality and other site functions to deliver cross-functional projects and achieve plant objectives
• Optimize human resources, equipment and budgets to sustainably improve operational performance, asset reliability and the site's competitiveness

Requirements

• Engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification
• At least 10 years' experience in operations management, production or industrial site leadership
• Proven experience in a high-volume production environment (process manufacturing)
• Experience managing teams of at least 100 employees
• Recognized leadership with strong ability to unite, influence and develop the performance of large teams
• Continuous improvement mindset with practical experience in change management
• Native or fluent French (C2) and professional working proficiency in English (B2)
