ABOUT THE JOB :

Job Summary :

The Plant Manager will oversee overall plant operations to ensure profitability and goal achievement. Responsibilities include policy formulation, daily operations management, and planning the use of materials and human resources. The role reports directly to the Director of Industrial Operations France and involves managing the site and its reorganization.

Key Responsibilities :

• Manage plant production goals and coordinate operations within company policies.
• Enhance operational systems, processes, and policies to support organizational objectives.
• Oversee financial management, planning, and controls.
• Manage the budget in collaboration with the Regional Controller.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and environmentally compliant plant.
• Build and sustain positive community relationships.
• Engage with customers during site visits and meetings.
• Develop and motivate a leadership team.
• Lead teams on company projects.
• Coordinate with department heads on purchasing, production, and shipping.
• Conduct plant meetings and deliver presentations to large groups.
• Drive initiatives for operational excellence and organizational improvement.
• Define a clear vision and strategic roadmap for the plant.
• Manage relationships with unions.

Profile :

Candidates should have technical training and significant experience managing production teams and profit centers in demanding industrial environments. Versatile, pragmatic, and autonomous, you should be a proactive leader with strong interpersonal skills, capable of motivating teams and contributing to site performance and productivity improvements.

Fluency in English and French is mandatory for effective communication and development within the group.

• Master’s degree or higher.

Preferred Skills / Qualifications :

• Knowledge of quality standards such as ISO9001, ISO 14001, IATF.
• Experience in the aluminum extrusion industry is highly preferred.
