Job summary

Forvia is seeking a Finance professional to oversee plant accounting and financial reporting in France. You will ensure reliable financial information, manage costing and reporting tasks, and optimize the plant’s financial performance within a matrix organization.

Required are a finance degree, 2+ years in industry, SAP proficiency, and fluent English. Automotive sector experience is a plus as we advance sustainable mobility technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance or related field.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in an industrial environment including an experience in a program team.
• Proficiency with SAP and related financial reporting tools.
• Fluent in English.
• Automobile industry work experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure reliable financial information.
• Oversight of costing calculation and reporting task.
• Managing the financial aspects of the operations to guarantee and optimize the plant's financial performance and competitiveness.
• Guarantee the accuracy of the accounting and financial information for the plant; ensure compliance with policies and tax rules.
• Budgetary control of the plant; monitor variances between forecasted and actual results.
• Follow-up on raw materials and monitor margins in standard costing environment.
• Validate economic justification of investments and follow-up.
• Develop plant budgets and associated forecasts, and plant reporting.
• Provide support for decisions affecting the plant; develop action plans and financial evaluation.
• Control the plant's operating cash flow including investments, receivables/payables.
