Job summary

NES Fircroft is seeking a Lead Planner in Paris to manage planning and progress measurement activities. You will develop, consolidate, and maintain the project's integrated schedule, tracking progress and identifying interfaces, constraints, and potential deviations to support decision-making and milestone achievement.

The role requires close collaboration with Project Management and Project Control, and involves preparing planning and progress reports for periodic meetings and management

Qualifications

• Experience in developing and maintaining integrated project schedules.
• Ability to define scheduling methods, procedures and progress tools.
• Experience coordinating scheduling across multiple work packages and disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and maintain the Project's integrated schedule aligned with objectives and milestones.
• Define and maintain scheduling methods, procedures, and progress measurement tools.
• Coordinate scheduling activities across work packages and disciplines and consolidate contributions into the overall schedule.
• Monitor progress, analyze deviations, and identify interfaces, constraints, and critical points impacting the schedule.
• Perform analyses, simulations, and scheduling scenarios for Project Management.
• Prepare and consolidate planning and progress reports for periodic reports and management meetings.
• Alert the Project Control Manager to deviations, risks and attention points and contribute to actions.
• Provide support to Project Management for planning, progress, and reporting.

Position: Lead Planner

Location: Paris, France

Duration: 12 months renewable

Status: Residential

The Lead Planner will manage the planning and progress measurement activities, close coordination with Project Management and Project Control. They will be responsible for developing, consolidating, and maintaining the project's integrated schedule, tracking progress, identifying interfaces, constraints, and potential deviations, and providing the analyses and reports needed for decision-making and to achieve the project's main milestones.

ACTIVITIES

• Develop, update, and maintain the Project's integrated schedule, in line with the project's objectives and milestones.
• Define and maintain scheduling methods, procedures, and progress measurement tools.
• Coordinate scheduling activities with different work packages and disciplines, and consolidate their contributions into the overall schedule.
• Monitor progress, analyze deviations, and identify interfaces, constraints, and critical points that could impact the schedule. Analyze and challenge contractors' schedules and progress tracking methods.
• Perform the analyses, simulations, and scheduling scenarios needed for Project Management.
• Prepare and consolidate planning and progress reporting elements, especially for periodic reports and management meetings.
• Alert the Project Control Manager to identified deviations, risks, and points of attention, and contribute to defining the associated actions.
• Provide support to Project Management for all activities related to planning, progress, and reporting.
