Job description:

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Planning & Logistics Manager who will be responsible for logistics activities within a factory/ function and drive cost reduction, service levels, effective utilization of warehouse and logistics activities.

Implement Cluster priorities and initiatives in the factory logistics area

What you will do

1. Drive factory daily logistics operations:

a. Ensure goods receipts from suppliers and deliveries to customer: resolve issues that might arise with deliveries (in/out) at warehouse / port / customs / transportation company: administer and manage documentation for all goods in/out of factory (e.g., invoices, customs documentation)

b. Implement and lead a good warehouse, transportation and logistics resource management in the factory (and outsourced if any)

c. Ensure correct and timely reporting of KPIs (incl., costs, payload, PDII) for all metrics concerning the factory, inclusive all the way to final destination on the DOsd. Actively manage the factory logistics team (e.g., performance management, individual development)

2. Operational logistics optimization:

a. Drive the expansion of WCM to attack Logistics losses (both in costs and service level) impacting the factory, involving other stakeholders as needed (e.g., CSRs, Supplier Management, carriers, …).

b. Lead factory logistics, working with Customer Service and Design, to optimize internal and outsourced resources to maximize short and mid term capacity utilization and efficient usage of working capital

c. Work with Planning and Customer Service to ensure proper inventory management (e.g., inventory reduction, eliminate scraping)

d. Secure logistics quality of service towards customers, incl. claim and complaints management / root cause analysis / eradication

3. Tactical logistics management :

a. Proactively identify improvement opportunities and drive logistics activities at factory level for lowest possible total logistics cost (inbound, outbound, warehousing and customs duties) and improved service level

b. Manage factory logistics suppliers / contracts (e.g., with transportation companies, forwarding agents, warehouses if any) in collaboration with supplier management

c. Support Planning, Customer Service and Design for end to end SC performance improvement



Profile description:

We believe you have

Master or equivalent in Business Administration/ Engineering

At least 3-5 years operational experience in the the area of expertise People coordination experience (eg. from being in a senior specialist role)

Project Management skills and experience.

Good stakeholder management skills.

Good English and French communication skills
