A recruitment partner is seeking a Construction Piping Supervisor in Roussillon, France, for a project in the construction of a manufacturing site. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in construction and revamping, with a strong focus on piping. Responsibilities include supervising subcontractors, ensuring compliance with HSE standards, and coordinating with engineering teams. This is an initial 9-month contract with the possibility of renewal.

Overview

CONSTRUCTION PIPING SUPERVISOR

Location: Roussillon

Contract duration: initial 9-month contract - renewable

Start Date: November

Project: Construction – Manufacturing Site

Reporting to the Construction Manager (or Superintendent), the Construction Piping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all piping construction and revamping activities on industrial sites. This includes supervising subcontractors, ensuring compliance with HSE standards, managing work permits, monitoring progress, and coordinating with engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise piping subcontractors and enforce HSE compliance.
• Review and validate piping documentation and schedules.
• Monitor progress, manage punch lists, and ensure quality control.
• Coordinate with engineering for site needs and technical support.
• Prepare daily reports and workforce tracking.

Role requirements

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in construction and revamping on industrial sites.
• Strong background in multi-disciplinary construction work, with a focus on piping.
• At least 5 years in a similar supervisory role.
• Experience interfacing with engineering teams and understanding site requirements.
• Strong HSE awareness and commitment.
