A leading engineering staffing provider is seeking a Piping Material Engineer for a 12-month contract in the Paris suburb. The role involves developing piping material specifications and supporting engineering tasks in the Oil & Gas and Marine sectors. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in these fields and a strong command of technical English.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Oil & Gas and/or Marine engineering projects.
• Strong command of technical English (written and spoken).
• Ability to write specifications and participate in vendor clarification meetings.

Responsabilités

• Develop and manage piping material classes and component specifications.
• Prepare valve and special item datasheets.
• Manage quantities and support material requisition revisions.
• Conduct technical bid evaluations for piping bulk and valves.
• Handle vendor documentation and purchase order follow-up.

Job Opportunity: Piping Material Engineer (Oil & Gas / Marine Projects)

About the Role

We are hiring on behalf of our client for a Piping Material Engineer to support engineering activities in the Oil & Gas and Marine sectors. The selected candidate will work under the supervision of a Lead Engineer and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality technical documentation and procurement support.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and manage piping material classes and component specifications
2. Prepare valve and special item datasheets
3. Manage quantities and support material requisition revisions
4. Conduct technical bid evaluations for piping bulk and valves
5. Handle vendor documentation and purchase order follow-up
6. Ensure compliance with marine industry standards
7. Contribute to naval project engineering activities
