Overview

Position Description

Responsibilities

• Lead a crew in the installation of water and sewer pipelines and related work (minimum 2 years).
• Operate Backhoes, Track Hoes, and Front End Loaders.
• Installation of various types of underground piping.
• Carry and maintain grade using pipe lay equipment.
• Grade elevation and reading blueprints and complex diagrams.
• Installation and proper use of trench shoring equipment.
• Perform manual labor as needed; routinely lift and move 10–25 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds.
• Trench safety and general safety certifications are a plus.

Experience and Requirements

• Must have a minimum of 2 years experience in the field of underground pipe utilities.
• Strong supervisory and communicative skills (verbal and written).
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Strong commitment to quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
• Must have a safety-first attitude and strictly adhere to safety requirements and procedures.
• Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors, and the general public at all times.
• Must be willing to travel and work away from home when required.
• Must be willing to work nights and weekends when necessary.
• High school diploma or GED.
• This will be a full-time position with some travel required.
