Key responsibilities

Captain of a Multi Engine Piston and Multi Engine Turbine aircraft conducting the in-Flight Calibration of Aeronautical Navigation, Approach and Landing Aids including Surveillance Radar, for a range of Civil and Military customers.

Working a small team, you will be responsible for the safe and on time delivery of the calibration tasks ensuring a high standard of professionalism and customer satisfaction.

Key is the ability to manage the tasking with your crew maintaining flexibility and agility to deal with multiple changes that can occur due to weather and customer asset uncertainties.

The role will involve several nights per month away from home in the UK and Europe.

  • Right to Live and Work in the UK

  • Lives within 30nm of Teesside

  • Knowledge of UK(EU) 965/2012 Part ORO and SPO

  • Min 2500 Hours total Flight Time

  • Min 1000 hours Multi Engine Command

  • Able to accept a flexible approach to rostering

  • Demonstrate ability to work in a small team

This role will require SC Clearance. It would be advantageous if currently held, however, if not currently held, it is a requirement that the successful applicant will undergo, achieve, and maintain SC Clearance. Please visit the UK government security vetting guidance for details.

To be eligible for full SC, you generally need to have resided in the UK for the last 5 years. In some circumstances, a minimum of 3 years’ residence in the UK over the last 5 years may be accepted, with additional overseas checks.
