TechAbout is seeking a PHP Developer to build and maintain our PHP and WordPress properties. The role is full-time and located at TechAbout HQ in DHA Lahore. You will work on maintaining WPArena.com, building custom WordPress themes and plugins, and improving page speed and Core Web Vitals for content-rich sites.

Candidates should have strong PHP with WordPress experience, MySQL knowledge, and solid JavaScript/CSS basics to finish features, while prioritising security and safe input handling.

Qualifications

• Strong PHP development with WordPress experience.
• Experience with MySQL and SQL performance consideration.
• Frontend basics in JavaScript and CSS to implement features.
• Security best practices including input sanitisation and data validation.

Responsabilités

• Maintain WPArena.com and the WordPress estate behind several brands.
• Build custom WordPress themes and plugins rather than adding generic solutions.
• Improve page speed and Core Web Vitals on content-heavy sites.
• Keep sites patched and secured due to public traffic.
