TechAbout is seeking a WordPress Developer to own and evolve the WordPress properties that drive a large audience. You will maintain and improve WPArena.com, TechEngage.com, and related sites, build themes and plugins, and ensure secure, high-performance deployments.

Ideal candidates have deep WordPress knowledge, professional PHP/MySQL skills, and a strong practical SEO background. You will work in a primarily online process with remote assessments, but onsite collaboration is possible.

Qualifications

• Deep WordPress knowledge: hooks, the loop, custom post types, WP-CLI.
• Proficient PHP and MySQL to professional standards.
• Practical SEO understanding for high-traffic sites.
• Security discipline: WordPress is a common target for attacks.

Responsabilités

• Maintain and improve WPArena.com, TechEngage.com and related sites.
• Build custom themes and plugins, and remove unused plugins.
• Fix Core Web Vitals, caching and image handling on high-traffic content sites.
• Handle migrations, staging and safe deployment without downtime.
