Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Clayton, NC. You will perform skilled specimen collections, provide exceptional customer service, and be the face of Labcorp at the Patient Service Center.

The role requires a phlebotomy certification or training, or 6+ months experience, and offers opportunities for growth within the organization. Evening and overtime work may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completion of a phlebotomy training program, or 6 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately into the data system.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis; maintain logs.
