The Coombe Hospital is one of the largest providers of women and newborn health care in the Republic of Ireland. We care for up to 10,000 pregnant women every year. In addition, over 1,000 newborns are admitted to the Neonatal Intensive Care Centre and over 8,000 adult surgical operations are performed. Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities:
- To carry out duties required for hospital compliance with FMD legislation.
- To be involved in the management and delivery of a comprehensive, top-up service for wards and departments.
- To manage and audit ward stock sheets and over-night log book and update as required
- To dispense prescriptions for outpatients and staff as may be appropriate under supervision of a pharmacist.
- To participate in the checking of cardiac resuscitation boxes/trays and to update records as appropriate.
- To ensure that Opening and End of Day Procedures as stated in SOP, are carried out regularly
- To rotate between pharmacy technician duties as advised by the Director of Pharmacy Services.
