The Laboratoire Lorrain de Chimie Moléculaire (L2CM) in Nancy, France, invites a Master 2/MSc student in Chemistry for a 6-month internship focused on phage-enhanced phototherapy for severe skin infections.

Work includes synthesis of ligands and MAPS cages, coordination with Pt, Au, Ru and Ti, and photophysical evaluation, with international collaboration and potential biology experiments. January–July 2027, strongly interdisciplinary environment.

Qualifications

• Master 2 / MSc student in Chemistry or closely related field.
• Solid background in organic synthesis and coordination chemistry.
• Good level of scientific English and international collaboration experience would be appreciated.

Responsabilités

• Design, synthesize and characterize photoactive MAPS systems.
• Coordinate with transition metals (Pt, Au, Ru, Ti) and purify products.
• Investigate photophysical properties (UV–visible, fluorescence, 1O2, photothermal) including NIR response.
• Contribute to potential antibacterial activity assays and MAPS–phage integration when possible.
