What you will enjoy doing
  • You will manage strategic sales and purchases of gases for competitors and intercompany, promoting sales to competitors, balancing growth and margins to maximize Linde's benefits within a proper sourcing roadmap aligned with the sales organization.
  • Develop and implement a make vs buy strategy for key products and build/maintain the right purchasing contracts, proactively re-evaluate active contracts, and update & troubleshoot pricing with competitors.
  • Coordinate inter-company / competitor transactions within the region and with other regional business units.
  • Manage crisis supply coordination during plant shutdowns, planned and unplanned, through alignment meetings, documenting all actions, quantifying economic impacts, and discussing with competitors and multi-country in-house alternatives.
  • Lead cylinder exchanges between business units to minimize CapEx spend and expand processes to EMEA, supporting CapEx planning for PGP packages in Region South West (Iberia, France, Benelux, Switzerland, Italy, Algeria, Tunisia).
  • Support the business units in controlling invoicing of sales and purchases, maximizing accounting accuracy, and maintaining shopping carts and purchase orders throughout the year for topics not managed at the operational level.
  • Assist in the BU budget process by combining purchase, sale, and transport data to provide the best forecast to FICO.
  • Contribute actively to the company's digital transformation project by collecting, interpreting, and utilizing data effectively.

  • You hold a university degree in Industrial Engineering complemented with Supply Chain education.
  • You have 5 years of experience in supply chain operations, ideally within the industrial sector, with proficiency in supply planning and optimization tools.
  • You master English at negotiation level and speak other local languages in the region.
  • You have strong skills in analyzing procurement data, quantifying economic impacts, managing budgets, and ensuring accurate cost allocation.
  • You possess knowledge in PGP Leadership & Change Management, and proficiency in ERP tools and supply planning software.
  • You have a proven ability to lead business transformations, manage change, and drive impactful projects with commercial acumen and strong execution skills under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and influence skills are essential for presentations, negotiations, and conflict resolution.
  • You have a deep understanding of B2B product marketing, combined with financial skills and analytics to articulate investment drivers.
  • You are technically and analytically competent to understand technical challenges, analyze complex scenarios, and optimize decisions with a focus on cost savings and value creation.
  • You are comfortable managing projects end-to-end, ensuring results delivery and alignment with strategic goals.

This is a full-time position with an unlimited contract. Standard weekly working hours are from 08:30 to 17:30.
