What you will enjoy doing

• You will manage strategically sales and purchases of gases for competitors and intercompany, promoting sales to competitors, balancing growth and margins to maximize Linde's benefit within a proper sourcing roadmap aligned with the sales organization.
• Develop and implement a make vs buy strategy for key products and build/maintain the right purchasing contracts, proactively re-evaluate active contracts, and update & troubleshoot pricing with competitors.
• Coordinate Inter-Company / Competitor transactions within the region and with other Regional Business Units.
• Manage crisis supply coordination during plant shutdowns, planned and unplanned, through alignment meetings, documenting all actions, quantifying economic impacts, and discussing with competitors and multi-country in-house alternatives.
• Lead the cylinder exchange between business units to minimize capex spend, expand processes to EMEA, and support the capex planning process for PGP packages in Region South West (Iberia, France, Benelux, Switzerland, Italy, Algeria, Tunisia).
• Support the Business Units in Region South West in controlling sales and purchase invoicing, maximizing accounting accuracy, generating the annual Shopping Cart and Purchase Orders, and maintaining them throughout the year for topics not managed at the operational level.
• Assist in the BU Budget Process by combining purchase, sale, and transport data, providing the best forecast to FICO.
• Embrace new challenges and actively contribute to the company's digital transformation project.
• Collect, interpret, and use data effectively to drive digital transformation.

What makes you great

• You hold a university degree in Industrial Engineering complemented with Supply Chain education.
• You have at least 5 years of experience in supply chain operations, ideally within the industrial sector, with proficiency in supply planning and optimization tools.
• You master English at negotiation level and speak other local languages in the region.
• You possess skills in analyzing procurement data, quantifying economic impacts, managing budgets, and ensuring accurate cost allocation to support decision-making.
• You have knowledge in PGP Leadership & Change Management and proficiency in supply planning and ERP tools.
• You have a proven ability to lead business transformations, manage change effectively, and drive impactful projects with commercial acumen and strong execution under pressure.
• Your communication and influence skills are key for presentations, negotiations, and conflict resolution, with the ability to influence and work seamlessly across all organizational levels.
• You have a deep understanding of B2B product marketing, coupled with financial skills and analytics to articulate investment value drivers.
• You are technically and analytically competent to grasp technical challenges, analyze complex scenarios, and optimize decisions focusing on cost-saving and value creation.
• You are comfortable managing projects end-to-end, ensuring results delivery and alignment with strategic goals. You can collect, interpret, and use data effectively to drive digital transformation.

This role is a full-time position with an unlimited contract. Standard weekly working hours are from 08:30 to 17:30.
