As a personal finance advisor, you’re responsible for developing and maintaining lasting and trusting business relationships with members and clients to ensure their satisfaction. Your role involves listening to members’ and clients’ needs, offering advice suited to their financial situations, and helping them choose appropriate solutions to meet their financial goals. You work closely with a client base mainly consisting of individual members and businesses, making interpersonal savvy essential. You drive results by recommending investments, loans, and insurance products. You leverage your expertise to balance member/client satisfaction, business objectives, profitability, and prudent risk management. You collaborate with various partners and experts to design strategies that meet the needs of members and clients. Specifically, you will be required to:

  • Advise members and clients on optimal strategies and work with them to identify expected results
  • Manage business relationships, assess satisfaction and service quality, follow up, and identify areas for improvement
  • Stay informed about the financial services industry, market trends, and best practices
  • Participate in outreach activities and represent the organization in the community
