Greenvolt Next France seeks a Permitting Coordinator to coordinate and manage permitting and licensing for renewable energy projects, ensuring compliance with French regulations and securing timely approvals throughout development and construction phases.

You will liaise with local authorities, grid operators and external consultants, monitor timelines, and manage risks, while supporting due diligence for financing or acquisition. Fluency in French and good English are required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Urban Planning, Law, or a related field.
• 2–5+ years in permitting, licensing, or regulatory processes, ideally in renewables.
• Solid knowledge of French permitting procedures and regulatory landscape.
• Experience with PV or renewable energy projects is a strong plus.
• Fluent in French and good English; MS Office proficiency; GIS is a plus.
• Strong analytical and documentation skills; manage multiple priorities.
• Team-oriented with good interpersonal skills; driving license.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate permitting and licensing processes for renewable energy projects, ensuring compliance with French regulations.
• Prepare, compile and submit permit application dossiers (urban planning, environmental, grid connection, etc.).
• Liaise with local authorities, municipalities, grid operators and regulatory entities throughout the permitting lifecycle.
• Monitor permitting timelines and proactively manage risks, delays and bottlenecks.
• Ensure documentation is accurate, complete, and aligned with project technical specs.
• Support development and engineering teams with regulatory constraints and permitting requirements.
• Track regulatory changes and assess impact on current and future projects.
• Coordinate external consultants involved in permitting processes (environmental, legal, technical).
• Maintain up-to-date permitting trackers and provide regular reporting to internal stakeholders.
• Support due diligence processes and ensure documentation for financing or acquisition.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, safety and land-use regulations.
• Participate in project planning to align permitting strategy with overall timelines.
