Trustpair raised 20 million euros to accelerate international growth and equip finance leaders with the tools needed to tackle sophisticated fraud tactics such as AI deepfakes, cyber attacks, and more.

About the role

An exciting opportunity has opened up at Trustpair and we’re searching for our next People Ops Apprentice!

This role is part of our People team and reports to Mava, our People Development Manager. As a People Ops Apprentice, you’ll have the opportunity to explore a broad scope of responsibilities, maintaining a very high standard of HR processes & office management. You’ll collaborate across all teams and with many managers at Trustpair, providing a 360 view of People Operations in an international and ambitious scaleup.

This role is for a 1 or 2 year apprenticeship only. Candidates must be based in Paris and available for 3 weeks in company / 1 week in school per month.

What you’ll do:

HR admin & payroll (Europe & US):

  • Preparing payroll processes (collecting variable elements, adding new joiners, and following up on departures, etc.)
  • Preparing HR administration documents (contracts, amendments, regulatory documentation, etc.)
  • Answering ad-hoc requests from employees.

Happiness management:

You will contribute to increase the team’s sense of belonging at Trustpair through the implementation of key events and culture-focused initiatives.

  • Suggesting and contributing to the organisation of internal events (monthly aperos, parties, seminars, etc.)
  • Setting up team building activities (seminars, random lunches, vismavie, virtual games, competitions, sports tournaments).

Office Management:

You will contribute to maintain a high level of satisfaction when it comes to Trustpair’s working environment; managing warm and welcoming offices.

  • Taking care of our Paris office by ensuring we maintain a high-quality, functional, and clean working environment.
  • Supervising any repair work, identifying providers, and finding solutions for day-to-day problems.
  • Bringing your positive thinking and sharing new ideas to ensure our offices are a fun, pleasant place to work.
  • Managing inventories and purchasing (office supplies, IT equipment, snacks, and beverages) based on consumption and arrivals.
  • Welcoming external visitors (partners, providers, candidates).

Must Haves:

  • You already have one professional experience of 3-6 months (internship or apprenticeship) in HR, ideally in a startup / scaleup environment.
  • You are currently studying for a Bachelor / Master 1 in HR / Business Administration / Office Management at University or Business School.
  • You are an expert of the Google Suite / Office Pack and you are eager to discover and use new IT tools (Notion, Slack).
  • You are detail-oriented and rigorous (you always double check the information you share).
  • You’re autonomous in finding solutions to problems and also have strong interpersonal / relationship skills to work cross-team.
  • You have strong organisational skills.
  • You are curious, positive, and full of energy.
  • You have excellent communication skills both written and oral in French & English.

Recruitment Process:

  • First call with Aicha, Talent Acquisition (30 min).
  • Experience interview with Cline, VP People (1 h).
  • Case study interview with Cline, VP People and Mava, People Development Manager on site (1 h).
  • Coffee fit with two members of the team.
  • Cofounders interview with Alexandre.
