As a People & Employee Relations Specialist, you will play a critical role in driving strategic initiatives and operational excellence for France, focusing on our current people priorities and ensuring seamless execution of labor relations strategies, particularly in your engagement with unions and workers' councils. This role combines strategic influence with hands-on operational involvement, requiring adaptability and a passion for navigating both areas effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Advisory: Act as an advisor to management on labor relations, navigating negotiations, consultations, and interactions with works councils and unions.
  • Administrative support: Maintain records of agreements and discussions, coordinate ER meetings, and prepare reports and materials for discussions and negotiations.
  • Policy Development: Partner with HR leadership to shape, implement, and improve policies that promote positive employee relations in line with legal standards.
  • Union & Works Council Engagement: Lead and support dialogues with unions and councils, managing negotiations and agreements.
  • Strategic Communications: Develop communication strategies to enhance transparency and trust, ensuring smooth change management.
  • Project Leadership: Lead or support employee relations projects, including workforce transitions and organizational changes.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leaders and legal advisors.

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or related field. Master’s preferred.
  • At least 5 years of HR experience, with 3+ years in employee and labor relations in France within a multinational environment.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to align employee relations with organizational goals.
  • Ability to operate effectively within a complex, matrix organization.
  • Strong communication skills, tactfully navigating sensitive conversations and influencing stakeholders.
