Suncoast Hospice, a member of Empath Health, is currently seeking a part-time Pediatric Social Worker to join our team.

Location: Servicing Hillsborough County

Schedule: Part-Time (20 hours per week). Specific weekdays and hours to be determined, between 8am-7pm, with later hours most needed.

The Pediatric Services Social Worker:

• Assess and intervene regarding the needs of chronically or terminally ill children and their families.
• Serve as the primary social worker for pediatric care programs including Hospice, Perinatal Loss, and Partners In Care.

Position Requirements:

• Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from an accredited school of Social Work.
• Licensure: LCSW or Registered Social Work Intern.
• Preferably 1 year of social work experience, especially with seriously ill children.
• Must be comfortable working with pediatric populations.
• Continuing Education as required for licensure.
• Reliable transportation for field-based tasks, with proof of valid automobile insurance.
