Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to oversee end-to-end payroll operations while ensuring compliance, accuracy, and continuous process improvement across our processes.

This is a part-time 12-month parental leave position (3 days per week, hours flexible).

Key Responsibilities

Deliver timely and accurate fortnightly payroll via Ready Workforce

Prepare payroll journals and reports to relevant stakeholders

Assist in month end and year processes as well as reconciliations

Maintain payroll records in line with relevant legislation and compliance standards

Provide general payroll support to senior management and the broader team.

Contribute to financial audits, process improvement, and a positive team culture

Qualifications

Knowledge and Experience required

Experience in payroll processing, particularly with Ready Workforce (preferred).

Good understanding of Australian payroll legislation, including PAYG, superannuation, STP, ATO compliance, and award / EBA interpretation (HIGA experience highly advantageous).

Advanced Excel skills essential.

Strong communication skills with a demonstrated commitment to confidentiality and data integrity.
