Intermountain Health is seeking a Patient Services Manager for the Culinary Service department at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver. You will oversee daily operations, lead therapeutic diet training, and partner with nursing to ensure exceptional patient meals and cost-effective service delivery.

The role emphasizes HR leadership, food safety compliance, and collaboration with clinical teams to address diet orders while advancing quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Service, Dietetics, Nutrition or Management; Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration within 6 months of hire.
• ServSafe certification or Food Handler Permit is required by first day of work (where applicable).
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a diverse team.
• Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Experience using word processing, advanced or complex spreadsheet and database applications, internet and e-mail and scheduling applications, as well as computerized tracking systems.
• Demonstrated experience in quality improvement initiatives.
• Preferred: hospital food service operations and therapeutic diets with multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience with nutrition software and clinical improvement initiatives.

Responsabilités

• Manages daily operations of patient meal services
• Partners with nursing to meet patients’ needs and education, following guidelines
• Leads meal areas and trains in therapeutic diets per provider orders
• Implements clinical best practices to deliver care at appropriate cost
• Provides value-based leadership to build high-functioning teams
• Manages HR functions including hiring, training, evaluation, discipline, and termination
• Ensures food safety standards and regulatory compliance
• Monitors quality and satisfaction scores; works on improvement plans
• Communicates nutrition expertise with healthcare providers
• Coordinates with clinical team on patient diet orders
