Job Title: Patient Care Technician

DaVita is seeking a Patient Care Technician who is passionate about giving life in an outpatient dialysis center. Joining DaVita as a Patient Care Technician (PCT) offers an exciting opportunity to start your career in healthcare. With paid, comprehensive training, you'll acquire the skills necessary to care for patients and connect with a network of healthcare professionals across your region. After training, you'll join a dedicated team of nurses, dietitians, social workers, and fellow PCTs to provide exceptional patient care. Position Details:

• No dialysis experience required.
• Training may occur at a facility or training clinic other than your assigned clinic.
• Potential to float to various clinics during and after training.
• Flexible schedule required, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

What You Can Expect:

• Direct patient care, providing safe, comfortable, and hygienic dialysis treatment.
• Care for multiple patients during your shift.
• Monitoring patients before, during, and after dialysis, including measuring stats and machine setup. Note: exposure to blood and needles.
• Building long-term relationships with patients and educating them on dialysis and related topics.
• Working within a team of clinicians, including technicians, nurses, dietitians, social workers, and leadership, under RN supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Desire to care for others in a healthcare setting.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Comfort working around blood and needles.
• Ability to work long hours (some shifts over 12 hours) on your feet.
• Willingness to train and work across multiple clinics within the territory.
• Healthcare certifications such as BONENT, CHT, CNA, CMA, or Phlebotomy are a plus.
