KEY RESULTS / ACCOUNTABILITIES EXPECTED FROM THE ROLE

Parts and Accessories Manager is the essential role in leading and managing the Aftersales parts & accessories business of MG Motor France. You will coordinate and oversee various activities to ensure the efficient supply, sales, and management of parts and accessories.

Your main missions will be :

Parts & Accessories Business Development :

  • Drive business development initiatives to grow parts & accessories revenue and strengthen MG Motor's aftersales market presence in France.
  • Develop the annual parts & accessories sales plan, commercial policy, and budget aligned with the Company’s strategic objectives and projects.
  • Establish parts & accessories pricing strategies based on thorough analysis of the French market and industry benchmarks.
  • Collaborate with HQ and local cross-functional teams to align parts & accessories strategy with new vehicle launches and customer campaigns.
  • Analyse market trends and dealer feedback to identify market opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Identify opportunities to expand the parts & accessories catalogue based on vehicle parc evolution, customer demand, and new vehicle launches.
  • Monitor and optimise operational processes and systems to enhance work efficiency.

Dealership Support :

  • Define general and specific policies and ordering rules for dealers according to the Company’s parts & accessories sales targets; support Sales Area Managers in implementation and optimization based on feedback.
  • Support Sales Area Managers & technical specialists in resolving customer inquiries and complaints.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through high parts availability, rapid issue resolution, and dealer network support.

Team Management :

  • Lead and develop a team of specialists, providing guidance and support to ensure a high level of engagement and performance.
  • Guide the team in establishing and adjusting the order plan for the local market to ensure availability and responsiveness.
  • Define and optimise inventory structure to minimise dead stock and improve turnover rates.
  • Supervise warehouse operations to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Manage and evaluate outsourced services in line with the Company’s policy.

Performance Management & Finance Support :

  • Set up and manage KPIs and reports including but not limited to sales income & cost, first fill rate, BO solving duration, ETD to customer, inbound on-time rate, stock level, inventory structure, turnover rate, and customer performance.
  • Review the programs and plans submitted by each region and develop annual work plans and budgets.
  • Support the Finance department with financial analysis and assist in strategic decision-making.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND & EXPERTISE

  • Education in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years' automotive parts management in France, EV sector experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of parts & accessories strategies, inventory optimization, and dealer network operations.
  • Proven team management experience with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.
  • Proactive and results-oriented, with solid project management capabilities.
  • Analytical mindset and high level of organizational skills, autonomy, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong cross-team coordination and internal & external communication skills (both oral and written).
  • advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with Power BI and MRP / ERP systems preferred.
  • Fluent French and English.
