About Earthworm

Earthworm is a non-profit which mission is to regenerate soils and forests with and for people. We see companies as a force for transformation and work closely with them and other actors in key raw material supply chains and in sourcing landscapes to create change.

Your Role

As Partnerships Manager for Agriculture Programs in Europe, you will be primarily responsible for:

  • Shaping strategic partnerships and scaling up regenerative agriculture and sustainable animal husbandry initiatives in Europe;
  • Serving as a trusted relationship manager for key Members engaged in Farming Programs— co-developing impactful work plans, ensuring delivery excellence, and challenging them to lead meaningful change in their supply chains.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to guide our members on their agriculture programs, covering a wide range of raw materials and key thematic areas.
  • Inspiring and guiding a team of Partnership Managers and Project Officers, fostering a values-driven, inclusive team culture that prioritizes learning, wellbeing, and professional growth.
  • Representing Earthworm in strategic forums and with key stakeholders, from farmer cooperatives to international institutions, amplifying our mission and creating cross-sector collaboration opportunities.

Your Profile

Passionate about agriculture and farming, with a strong understanding of agricultural value chains from farmer to corporate and retailer, you ideally also worked "in the field" at some point in your career.

You thrive in relationship management, including with senior stakeholders, and love to influence decision making in order to generate positive impact. Being an excellent communicator, with strong presence, you know to convey a message in a way that can be received by others, combining directness with genuine compassion. Having a strategic drive, you enjoy finding creative solutions and a realistic path forward even in the most difficult situations and can translate broad informational content into clear and concise narratives.

Being a natural leader and effective planner, you can independently prioritize, allocate resources and drive a large portfolio of projects simultaneously in an accurate and reliable manner. You are pragmatic and doer type of person. Thanks to your curiosity, great listening skills, positive attitude and deep care for the well-being of others, you naturally keep people in your ecosystem engaged and collaborating in a shared purpose.

You have demonstrated experience working in global supply chains in the private sector, and will be comfortable in fast-moving, pressurised, complex, multi-cultural and changing environments.

Working Conditions

  • Education: University degree in Agronomy, Business engagement or Agricultural engineering (preferable)
  • Language(s): French & English, other language an advantage (Spanish)
  • Employment: Full-time/Open-ended
  • Location: Lille (France) with important travel requirements
  • Experience: 10 years minimum
