Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a Clinical Trial Independent Rater (CIR) who will support the integrity of trial data through review of scales and live discussions with raters. The role emphasizes methodology guidance, scoring practices, and documenting assessments, with a focus on maintaining high quality data in CNS trials.

The candidate should hold a Master’s degree or higher in psychology or related fields, with at least 3 years of clinical experience and proficiency in Windows and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Psychiatric Nursing, Social Work, or equivalent; MD/DO/PhD preferred.
• Minimum 3 years administering psychiatric assessments, rating scales, and structured interviews (MINI, MADRS).
• Minimum 3 years clinical experience with psychiatric populations in clinical research trials.
• Experience in CNS trials is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in orientation, training, and calibration activities.
• Review case data and prepare materials for rater discussions.
• Conduct live interactions with raters to provide guidance on assessment methodology and scoring.
• Complete tasks and rater interactions according to schedule; submit documentation on time.
